A good gesture goes a mile

As part of their Corporate Social Investment (CSI), the Van Schaik Book Store donated at least 100 packs of stationery to students at the Vaal University of Technology (VUT) on 30 October.

“This is our good luck gesture to the students” said Ms Magda Albrecht.

This is an annual initiative in collaboration with the Department of Student Counselling and Support and it is for the benefit of students who are on the Poverty Alleviation Database which the Student Counselling and Support Department monitor at VUT. The Student Counselling and Support department will distribute   the study packs according to their database during a workshop on exam preparation and study tips on the 02 November 2018. During this period of exams, the students welcome and appreciate any material support as this gesture demonstrates care and support
