Dr Tozama Qwebani-Ogunleye
TechWomen is an Initiative of the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. It is a platform for emerging women leaders in STEMI and if one makes it in the finals the award encompasses a one month working visit to the San Francisco’s Silicon Valley. During that tenure one will be based in a company doing similar/related work that one is doing in their home country, have a professional mentor in that field and network with other leaders/entrepreneurs. This is then followed by a oneweek program in Washington DC, where the awardee participates in discussions, forums and cultural events. The discussions normally rotate around Women in Science and Leadership.
