The VUT Human resources team were joined by other Departments to dedicate their 67 minutes in honour of the former South African President and renowned anti-apartheid icon, Nelson Mandela.
They handed over toiletries to the VUT Welfare Services at the residences for needy students: “I am of the opinion that charity begins at home,” said Queen Mogamisi: Employee Wellness Specialist.
They themed their initiative: “I did my 67 minutes and you?”
The Welfare Department thanked the HR team and assured them that the toiletries will be distributed to the needy students.
