About Physics

Physics at the Vaal University of Technology is a part of a section in the department of Environmental sciences, Mathematics, Non-Destructive Testing and Physics at the Vaal University of Technology. It is offered as a service introductory subject to courses in Applied Sciences and Engineering fields.

Although physics encompasses a wide variety of phenomena, our introductory physics focuses on the basic theories of Waves, Mechanics, Electricity, Electromagnetism, Thermodynamics, and Environmental Physics. The Physics section of the department offers an academic curriculum that prepares students for a career in industry, while constructing a vital understanding of physics and natural phenomena.
