The FSASEC underwent yet another successful Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) training session from 5-9 June. This training was headed by Mr Amr Kandil, a Senior Energy Management Engineer at Schneider Electric in Egypt.
The training’s objectives were to teach lecturers how to program the M340 PLCs by themselves and how to solve engineering problems in the future. Mr. Kandil confirmed that he wouldn’t leave without being understood because he had his own personal purpose to fulfill. He reckons that he is on the right path as the indicators prove that positive.
Prof Alexandre Sebastiani, Director of the training centre says the training not only empowers the lecturers, but also their students.
The training held was also attended by lecturers from CPUT and VUT.
