Education Institution established in terms of the Higher Education Act (Act 101 of 1997). The University offers formal academic programmes registered on its Programme Qualification Mix (PQM), as well as a variety of Short Learning Programmes (SLPs).<\/p><p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"320\">\u00a0<\/p><p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"320\">VUT is committed to providing just-in-time, non-formal training interventions that address skills gaps across different sectors of the South African economy. These SLPs support continuing education, lifelong learning, and both professional and personal development, enabling individuals and organisations to enhance their knowledge and skills. They are flexible in nature and may be customised to meet specific industry or client needs based on identified training requirements.<\/p><p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"320\">\u00a0<\/p><p data-start=\"0\" data-end=\"320\">SLPs are developed in collaboration with the University\u2019s Faculties and relevant departments and undergo a rigorous internal approval and quality assurance process to ensure alignment with Council on Higher Education (CHE) standards.
