Her visit focused on unpacking THE rankings metrics, methodologies, and evolving priorities, while also offering tailored guidance on how VUT can more effectively articulate its institutional strengths.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During her discussions with the VUT Internationalisation Committee, research stakeholders, and strategic planning teams, Ms Petje emphasised the importance of robust institutional data, collaborative research outputs, citation impact, and internationalisation initiatives. Her insights aligned closely with VUT\u2019s renewed commitment to research capacity development, global partnerships, and increased staff and student mobility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The engagement marks an important step in VUT\u2019s journey to strengthen its international profile and readiness for global rankings. By deepening relationships with ranking bodies such as THE, the University continues to position itself as a competitive institution within both the African and global higher education sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The VUT Internationalisation Department extends its appreciation to Ms Petje for her meaningful contribution and looks forward to future
