STOP hunger and feed students

Covid-19 has brought up many challenges. Families are suffering, students experience hunger. However, with the help of Rise Against Hunger (RAH), donating nutritional meal packs, needy students at VUT can cope and hunger is prevented through this gesture.
The donation was coordinated through the office of the Director: Marketing & Public Relations at the Vaal University of Technology on Tuesday, 14 July 2020. RAH has been supporting the VUT Poverty Alleviation Project since 2015, and the relationship is growing from strength to strength. The donation of nutritional meal packs is part of their goal aimed at making Africa a hunger free continent by 2030.

“We really appreciate the donation and continuous support we get from RAH yearly. They are always there in times of need to lend a helping hand”, said Ms Mokotsi.
RAH donation to VUT has been fruitful and much appreciated by students and the wellness team.
“Thank you RAH for responding positively to our call for help. We trust that your support for the VUT students, will continue to touch the lives of the next generations” said Ms Faith Mocoancoeng, Residence Wellness Manager.
