VUT 2022 academic registrations underway

The 2022 Registration season commenced on 26 January 2022 for first time entering students (FTENS).
The institution received 99 195 applications for the 2022 intake and about 22000 students are expected to register for 2022. Of this number, 5089 are first year students.
Registration dates were adjusted to accommodate delays from NSFAS in announcing the list of funded students. NSFAS has begun issuing the names allowing the process to commence.
Online Registration
No walk-ins are allowed on campus. The registration process is therefore conducted strictly online.
To register, students are encouraged to use the student registration portal which is available on the University website (www.vut.ac.za ), ITS (Integrated Tertiary Software) system.

Should there be any changes to the current schedule, the Registrar’s office will send out a communique.
