VUT says goodbye to semester exchange students
Sep Schraven and Erwin de Bruijn

There is an African saying that goes: “Those who have met will definitely meet again”. The universe simply has way of making you meet again.
It is with this in mind that VUT says goodbye to Sep Schraven and Erwin de Bruijn who were part of the first semester exchange programme from Fonty’s University of Technology in the Netherlands.
The students have said they have had a great time at VUT and would love to come back again someday. Even though they were taken out of their comfort zones and had to adapt to the culture of VUT and a new lifestyle, they claim everything has gone well and they have gained a lot to take back to their country.
They said that, above all, they would miss the friends they have made and thanked everyone for making their stay worthwhile.
Exchange students are identified by their institutions and their application forms get sent to the VUT’s International Office. These are then sent to the relevant Faculties for approval. Once the applications have been approved, the International Office finalises everything and arranges the visit.
