From Johannesburg International Airport
For the air traveller, Johannesburg Airport (about an hour’s drive north of the university) is convenient to all the main arteries. As you leave the airport buildings first follow the signboards marked Johannesburg (for approx 12 kms). At the Gilooly interchange, follow the N3/Durban signs. After approx 5 kms, take the N12 bypass around Alberton, following the Bloemfontein/ Kimberley/ Vereeniging sign, then after about 3 kms, take the off-ramp onto the R59/ Vereeniging, marked on the route map. Travel for approx. 50 kms. After passing the Vereeniging turn-off, take the R42 off-ramp to Vanderbijlpark which is another 10 kms further. After passing Pick ‘n Pay Hypermarket, take the first intersection to your left into Andries Potgieter Boulevard. The university is on your left. The entire distance is approximately 80 kms

After approx. 20 kms, take the Vanderbijlpark off-ramp, cross one four-way stop and two traffic light intersections. At the third traffic light turn left at the Vereeniging signboard (marked R42). Turn right at the fourth intersection (Andries Potgieter Boulevard). The university is on the corner. From Pretoria, the distance is approximately 130 kms or from Johannesburg, 50 kms.
