VUT WELCOMES THE R1.1M DONATION FROM MOTSEPE FOUNDATION

On Thursday, 16 February 2023, the Vaal University of Technology received a donation of R1.1 million from the Motsepe Foundation. The generous donation will be channelled towards alleviating the financial burden on disadvantaged deserving students, particularly during this crucial period of registrations.
The cheque was handed over to Dr Sibusiso Mchunu, the Executive Director for Student Support Services, alongside Mr Maanda Masendi, the SRC President. Thank you to the two offices for the initiative and pursuing the Foundation.
The Motsepe Foundation is known for its philanthropic efforts in South Africa and across the African continent, and this donation is an example of their pledge to nurturing potential and promoting education.
