Community Engagement

The Vaal River City Development represents a collaborative endeavour between the Vaal University of Technology (VUT), Northwest University (NWU), and the Vaal Economic Zone (VEZ). A memorandum of understanding has been established to formalise this partnership, signalling a shared commitment to the project’s success. Currently, the initiative is progressing with its inaugural project, which is undergoing developmental stages. This venture not only underscores the significance of cooperation between academic institutions and economic zones but also highlights the potential for significant socio-economic impact within the region.
