Payment of the application fee

The application handling/administration fee is required on an annual basis as the payment is done for each academic year in which an application is made. For example: for applications made for the 2025 academic year – whether these were done in 2024 or during the late applications period in early 2025, the application fee paid was for administration of the applications made for the 2025 academic year.

VUT will therefore require that all applications made for the 2026 academic year be accompanied by the application fee. The fees are charged for the 2026 academic year as
follows:

  1. Application fee for all applicants is R110.
  2. . National applicants: Please use Identity number or student number as reference
  3.  International applicants: Please use your Passport number or student number as
    reference
