As we look back at 2016, we note with much appreciation that it’s been a year well deserved for the recognition of growth and long-term stability for the Southern Gauteng Science and Technology Park (SGSTP). That is now done and dusted Laying the foundation of success for the coming year, each of the departments have recommitted their pledge and commitment of making 2017 a recording-breaking year in all spheres of business activities to expand operations and ensure a bumper year of growth and prosperity.
“We are ready and all set to make 2017 the biggest and best year for the Science Park”, said the ecstatic Executive Director; Dr Joe Molete. With a powerful combination of state-of-the-art technology and exposure to new areas of expansion, coupled with enthusiastic, confident and positive staff, we are heading for total success. The year ahead is planned with ambitious and exciting projects that will bring together communities, industry, government and business that will showcase the SGSTP in a way that will boost the activity and awareness of the organisation both locally and abroad. As we unveil our plans for the future, we are geared to put the SGSTP on the map with expanding our operations on an international plane. Extensive planning and preparation will go into each of the projects lined up for this year to ensure that the world takes note of this rapidly growing enterprise that forms part of the Vaal University of Technology.
Some of our projects last year included partners from India, Germany, Italy and France to name but a few, this year we plan to expand beyond this horizon, adding to this list of countries. We will also be working closely with our International Relations and Advancement office at the Vanderbijlpark Park campus to expand our operations to other countries.
Each week will follow with editorial based on the activities that will take place, creating about what we all about. Watch this space for exciting news of success and expansion as we work together to make the SGSTP a force to be reckoned with. Yes we are excited, forceful and determined about the future growth of the SGSTP and the prospect of expansion that is on the cards. As we flip each of the cards and they become reality, this will enshrine in us a sense of pride and joy to be part of an organisation that are creating success through disruptive technologies and innovation. With the backing of a strong and determined management team, we are heading for total success as we reach for greater heights. Watch this space.
