Vaal University of Technology celebrates Spring Graduations

The Vaal University of Technology (VUT) will award various qualifications to its students who have successfully completed their studies. The Spring graduation ceremonies will take place from 11 – 14 September 2017 at the VUT Vanderbijlpark Campus – Desmond Tutu Great Hall. All four VUT faculties; Applied and Computer Sciences; Engineering and Technology; Human Sciences and Management Sciences, will confer Diplomas, BTech’s and MTechs to their students.

Graduations mark a joyous occasion , to celebrate and reap fruits of the hard-earned work by students after many years of study. Determination, dedication and commitment have kept the students in good stead over the years to focus on their goal to achieve their qualifications. Parents, guardians, families and relatives will join the students in celebration of their milestone achievement.

In his message of support for students, Vice-Chancellor and Principal, Professor Gordon Zide said, “I would like to salute and congratulate all the graduands for achieving their hard-earned mile-stone in their academic journey. It is time you can proudly say to yourself: “I have made it, no matter how challenging and tiring the journey was.” In your success which lies ahead, never forget those who sacrificed everything in their life to make it possible for you.” The media is invited to join VUT in celebrating this wonderful moment in academia.
