VUT Alumni Relations show even more love to Kgahliso children

Children at Kgahliso Children’s Home seem to have won the hearts of the Alumni Relations team as it once again lent a hand on Mandela Day.
The team has been visiting the home often to assist in as many ways they can. It was just last month when they made a huge donation at the home along with various other stakeholders.
On Mandela Day they went along to donate breakfast food for the children to enjoy before starting their daily activities. Providing balanced meals for children is one of the home’s challenges.
Mr Peter Masombuka, Alumni Relations HOD, extended this offering by organising a lunch for the kids and caregivers.
“This is the day I will never forget; the smiles on the children’s faces were endless,” said the founder of the home Ms Salamina Mokgatle.
