To restore the dignity of learners in different schools in Gauteng, the Vaal University of Technology (VUT) E-skills CoLab recently joined Johannesburg Correctional Services in delivering School shoes to Thaba Tshehlo Primary School in Soweto. The project was part of a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) undertaken and funded personally by prison warders. The VUT -Colab had the honour to join forces this year and donated school shoes to young learners at the school.

The event was themed: Walking Proud.

According to Darryl Lund: Project Manager (VUT E-skills Department), “the school project was a huge success and seeing the kids happy was priceless.”
