Professor Labuschagne’s election reflects the confidence placed in her by members of the Fund and highlights the continued participation of VUT staff in national governance structures that support the well-being of the higher education community.

Commenting on her election, Professor Labuschagne expressed appreciation for the trust placed in her.

“I am honoured by the confidence shown by members of the Fund. I look forward to contributing to the responsible governance of the NTRF and to supporting decisions that safeguard the long-term interests of members and pensioners across the higher education sector,” she said.

VUT wishes Professor Labuschagne success as she undertakes this important responsibility and contributes to the stewardship of the Fund in the interests of its members and pensioners.
